Prepare for Ear Training Levels 3-8 of the Washington State Music Teachers Association Music Literacy Program (MLP). The test prep contains practice questions for rhythm identification and Rhythmic and Melodic Dictation. Downloadable ZIP file contains two PDFs (question sheet and answer key) with MP3 audio files of the questions.

These practice exercises and answer keys were created by a WSMTA teacher for her own students. A one-time purchase licenses studio teachers to make unlimited copies for their students. Refer to the Music Literacy Curriculum Guides on the WSMTA web site for detailed information about rhythm concepts that are included at each testing level. This test-prep packet does not include Interval Recognition questions, or Level 9-10 prep questions which are geared for piano students discerning polyrhythms and melodies.
