Prepare for Levels 1-10 of the Washington State Music Teachers Association Music Literacy Program (MLP) Rhythm Tests. Downloadable 3-page PDF contains two practice tests for each level. Students can count, clap-and-count, clap to a metronome, or play notes to a metronome to demonstrate their understanding of the printed rhythms. No answer key is included — teachers can coach students using their preferred counting patterns.

These practice exercises and answer keys were created by a WSMTA teacher for her own students. A one-time purchase licenses studio teachers to make unlimited copies for their students. Refer to the Music Literacy Curriculum Guides on the WSMTA web site for detailed information about rhythm concepts that are included at each testing level.
